Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Modular Electrician to join our team in a fast-paced modular construction/manufacturing environment. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems in modular buildings prior to delivery and installation on-site. The ideal candidate has strong electrical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production setting.
Responsibilities
Install electrical wiring, conduit, panels, fixtures, and devices in modular units
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Perform rough-in and finish electrical work on modular structures
Ensure all work complies with NEC, local, and state electrical codes
Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues during production
Work closely with other trades (plumbing, framing, HVAC) to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Meet production schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience
2+ years of experience as an electrician (modular, residential, or commercial preferred)
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on feet for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
Prior experience in modular, manufactured housing, or prefab construction
Forklift or lift certification
Experience working in a factory or production environment
