Tec Centro Network is a workforce development organization focused on preparing adults for careers in the skilled trades. They are seeking a Commercial/Residential Electrician (mechanical maintenance experience a plus) who is ready to step off the jobsite and into a full-time instructor role.

What You'll Do
As a Trade & Technical Instructor, you will deliver engaging, hands-on training that prepares adult learners for real-world success.
- Teach commercial and residential electrical systems, tools, and techniques
- Introduce mechanical maintenance fundamentals (preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Deliver hands-on, practical instruction aligned with industry standards
- Reinforce jobsite safety, OSHA practices, and code compliance
- Adapt teaching methods to support diverse and non-traditional learners
- Track student progress and provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship
- Foster a supportive, career-focused learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in electrical work (commercial and/or residential)
- Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, safety practices, and electrical systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman license or relevant certifications
- Experience in mechanical maintenance
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience (formal or informal)
- Experience working with adult learners or career transition populations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued
