Electrician Helper - Level 1

SUMMARY: The Electrician Helper (Level 1) is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment in the plant and repairing and maintaining the plant facilities themselves while providing support to plant management in their efforts to produce a wholesome, quality product for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Monitor and maintain electrical systems, motors, electronics, etc.
• Troubleshoot problems as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and systems
• Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
• High school diploma AND 1+ year(s) of experience performing industrial electrical work
• Experience with PLC and inverters
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed
