Overview The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the casino property. This position helps ensure a safe, reliable, and attractive environment for guests and team members by maintaining gaming, hospitality, entertainment, and back-of-house electrical systems. Working in a high-traffic, 24/7 environment, the Electrician must complete tasks efficiently and discreetly, often during off-peak hours, to minimize interference with guests and gaming activities. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining facility standards are critical to success in this role. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, panels, and circuits. Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions throughout the casino, hotel, restaurants, and other property facilities. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems. Maintain interior and exterior lighting, including parking lot, signage, and decorative lighting. Support electrical needs for slot machines, gaming equipment, surveillance systems, and other operational equipment as directed. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or code violations. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency service calls. Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and inventory. Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company policies, and safety regulations. Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors on renovation and repair projects. Complete work orders and required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experience; hospitality or casino experience preferred. Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
