We are the sole designer, builder, and refueler of U.S. Navy nuclear aircraft carriers and one of only two providers of U.S. Navy nuclear submarines.
Our team includes skilled tradespeople, engineers, project managers, software developers, technical experts, and many others working at the forefront of shipbuilding and defense technology.
The Role
Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and classroom instruction in assembly and production areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the development and implementation of new training programs.
- Introducing new manufacturing processes and work sequences.
- Maintaining training rosters, examination records, and certification records.
- Monitoring trainee progress.
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of additional education and/or relevant experience
Qualifications
Marine electrical experience, including:- Absence of Voltage (AOV)
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
- Arc Flash
Marine electrician safety procedures and best practices
