    Position OverviewWe are seeking a Principal Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the development of advanced electro‑mechanical systems, guiding efforts across architecture, analysis, validation, and product integration. This individual will play a key leadership role in driving technical direction, ensuring product performance, and supporting programs from concept through production.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership for a team focused on the development of complex electro-mechanical assemblies and system-level solutions.Drive system architecture development, including defining technical requirements, specifications, and overall project scope.Apply engineering expertise to analyze product behavior, identify performance improvements, and enhance system functionality.Develop and implement validation strategies, including defining test approaches and executing verification activities.Act as the primary point of contact for external electronics partners, translating system requirements into clear technical expectations.Evaluate design tradeoffs and present recommendations to balance performance, reliability, and cost objectives.Partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful system integration.Ensure designs align with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance expectations.Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.Communicate technical concepts, progress, and risks effectively to both technical teams and leadership stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).7+ years of experience in electrical systems or electro‑mechanical product development.Strong background in system architecture, analysis, and validation methodologies.Experience developing and executing design verification plans and interpreting results.Proven experience working with external vendors and cross‑functional teams.Familiarity with reliability and risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA or similar approaches).Strong communication and technical presentation skills.Compensation & BenefitsSalary for this role will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and placement.
