Job Title: Electrical Service Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated electrical service technician to join our team. As an electrical service technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical work including installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with relevant codes and standards
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the best course of action for repair
Communicate effectively with customers to explain the work that needs to be done and provide excellent customer service
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job
Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies in the field of electrical services
Requirements:
Proven experience as an electrical service technician or a similar role
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components
Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
