Senior Project Manager – Electrical GroupSalary Range: $140,000 – $170,000 per year (depending on qualifications and experience)SummaryThe Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall financial performance and successful delivery of assigned projects. This role requires strong leadership across estimating, preconstruction, VDC coordination, prefab integration, production tracking, and field operations. The Senior Project Manager must be capable of managing a defined preconstruction process, working closely with both the VDC team and field team to drive innovation and efficiency. This position requires expertise in project management, cost forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, and change order negotiations while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring project goals are achieved.ResponsibilitiesFinancial LeadershipFull responsibility for project financials: costs, billings, projections, margins, commitments, AR/AP.Proficient in forecasting cost-to-complete and revenue projections.Spectrum accounting software knowledge is a plus.Preconstruction & VDC / Prefab IntegrationMust have proven prefab project delivery experience and the ability to lead prefab planning with VDC and field operations.Manage and drive the defined preconstruction process from concept through execution, ensuring accurate budgets, constructability reviews, and alignment between estimating, VDC, prefab, and field teams.Partner with engineering/VDC to leverage models and prefabrication for schedule, cost, and quality gains.Estimating & Change OrdersProficient in change order estimates, scope analysis, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.Experienced in Accubid and Accubid Change Order.Skilled in negotiating change orders with clients.Scheduling & ProductionDevelop and manage project schedules, integrating work breakdown structures with GC schedules.Proficient in scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, P6).Apply pull planning and issue constraint logs as needed.Monitor manpower levels and production tracking against budgets.Leadership & Customer ManagementLead effective teams consisting of clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff.Maintain balance between protecting company interests and building long‑term customer relationships.Delegate responsibilities, run effective meetings, and foster collaboration across all project stakeholders.Promote Hypower's culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Process DisciplineExecute projects in alignment with documented processes and procedures.Ensure compliance with company standards, safety, and best practices.QualificationsMinimum 10 years of project management experience in electrical construction.Proven ability to manage projects greater than $10 million.Prefab delivery experience is required, including coordination with VDC and field teams.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheets).Proficient in Procore project management software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.Demonstrated ability to uphold Hypower's core values: relationships, professionalism, results, continuous improvement, and community.Bilingual is a plus.BenefitsNational health and dental plansPaid vacations and holidaysLife insuranceShort‑ and long‑term disability plans401(k) retirement plansIncentive and recognition programsNational discount programsHypower LLC is a Drug‑Free Workplace and an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
