Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a growing construction organization to hire an Electrical Safety Specialist to support field operations and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards across active job sites. This is a hands-on role focused on electrical safety, OSHA compliance, and field training, working closely with project teams to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and experience supporting safety programs in construction settings.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine construction site safety audits and inspections, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
  2. Ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1926 & 1910) and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
  3. Support project teams with pre-task planning, hazard assessments, and safety documentation
  4. Deliver safety training to field personnel (OSHA 10/30, fall protection, electrical safety, equipment safety, etc.)
  5. Assist with incident and near-miss investigations, including documentation and root cause support
  6. Ensure job sites are properly equipped with PPE, safety equipment, and required resources
  7. Maintain accurate records of training certifications, inspections, and compliance documentation
  8. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and field teams to maintain a safe work environment
  9. Attend and represent the company in safety meetings with clients, contractors, and leadership

 

Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of construction site safety experience
  2. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926 & 1910)
  3. Experience with NFPA 70E (electrical safety) and ability to meet Qualified Person criteria
  4. Experience conducting site audits, safety inspections, and training
  5. Ability to lead safety trainings and present to groups of varying sizes
  6. Strong communication and documentation skills
  7. Ability to work onsite and adapt to changing field conditions
