Electrical Project Manager

HM Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from kickoff to completion

• Review plans, specifications, and contracts

• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets

• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, inspectors, and vendors

• Oversee field supervision, electricians, and subcontractors

• Track material procurement, deliveries, and change orders

• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations

• Conduct jobsite meetings and progress reports

• Handle project documentation, billing, and closeout packages

• Resolve issues and minimize project delays or cost overruns

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in electrical construction project management

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (commercial/industrial preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specs

• Experience with project scheduling and budgeting

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

• Valid driver's license

Preferred

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license

• Experience with Design-Build projects

• OSHA 30 certification

• Experience with estimating or preconstruction
