You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.The Project Manager has full responsibility for assigned electrical projects. Will be responsible for estimating, cost control, forecasting and scheduling multiple projects through final project completion. The PM will be the GC/Owner's point of contact and will coordinate the job team to meet all project goals.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:• Generate high quality work in alliance with the vision and mission of TES.• Utilize estimation software to assemble estimates for projects.• Understands plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements.• PM responsibilities include submittals, purchase orders, materials contracts, and subcontracts, change orders, as-built documents, and to ensure the high quality of all work performed at a job site.• Plan, schedule, and maintain timelines by optimizing resources in a fast-paced construction/installation environment.• Develops project schedules: assigning cost and manpower to the schedule and provide cash and• Develops budgets for projects, assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, including assisting in the design and writing of the scope of work, management plans, work sequence, safety, quality control and commissioning.• Develops and presents clear and detailed project scopes to the client and meets with potential customers to present proposals.• Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work in a timely and professional manner.• Manage all job closeout procedures.• Ensures that all assigned work is completed on time and within budget.• Follows all TES procedures for setting up and running projects.• Ensures all drawings and specs are available for field personnel and that they accurately represent the work to be done before the project starts.• Working closely with the Project Coordinator and/or Warehouse Coordinator, responsible to ensure that all required materials are ordered in a timely fashion when and where needed.• Coordinates and tracks the need, use, and movement of shop equipment, tools, and material between jobs with the Warehouse Coordinator.• Ensures that all safety policies, rules, and regulations are followed and enforced.• Performs regular and/or irregular on-site visits to observe and ultimately ensure that the work is being performed in accordance with instructions.• Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within the industry.Minimum Qualifications• Demonstrates understanding and enthusiastic agreement with the vision and mission of TES.• Position requires 3-5 years of experience working at a Journeyman (or equivalent) level.• Pass a background check, including drug test.• Must have a clean driving record with a valid Tennessee license.• Works well with others to reach common goals.• Proficiency in using various software applications (Procore, MS Office Suite, and Estimation Software). Ability to learn new software/cloud-based project management systems.• Strong business skills.• Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials, and specifications.• Proficiency at reading and interpreting blueprints.• Experience with contract documents (contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum,specifications, and change orders).• Must possess an ambitious attitude with a desire to advance.• Successful at thinking quickly, independently, using critical thinking and able to rely on personal judgment and experience to make decisions and accomplish tasks.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
