We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support major airport capital improvement programs in the Philadelphia region. This role provides senior electrical leadership across terminal, landside, and airfield projects within active airport environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong aviation electrical expertise, experience working in operational airports, and the ability to manage complex stakeholders while maintaining strict compliance with FAA and airport authority standards.
Lead electrical scopes across multiple concurrent aviation projects, including renovations, expansions, and airfield infrastructure upgrades. Manage schedule, budget, risk, and contractor performance while coordinating closely with airport operations to minimize operational impacts.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10 15+ years of electrical project management experience
Significant aviation or mission-critical infrastructure experience
Experience working in active airport environments
Strong knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, NEC, NFPA, TSA, and airport authority standards
Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Ability to support night work, outages, and operational constraints
PE license
PMP certification
Owner's representative or program management experience
Experience at medium- or large-hub commercial airports
Project Leadership
Manage electrical scopes for aviation capital programs
Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk plans
Support change management and cost negotiations
Technical Oversight
Provide expertise in aviation electrical systems, including airfield lighting, FAA-regulated systems, vaults and constant current systems, medium/low voltage distribution, emergency power, BHS power, and security systems
Review designs, RFIs, and submittals for compliance and constructability
Construction & Coordination
Coordinate with airport operations, maintenance, safety, and security
Manage contractors, inspectors, and commissioning teams
Lead shutdowns, cutovers, testing, and system turnover
Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement
Ensure compliance with FAA, NEC, NFPA, TSA, AHJ, and airport standards
Serve as primary electrical liaison to airport authorities and stakeholders
Prepare and present scope, cost, schedule, and risk updates
