Apply today and help power the systems that keep our world running.Tesco Controls is seeking a Project Engineer to support and lead the development, design, and execution of the engineering scope for complex automation and electrical control projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment.What you will do:Design complex electrical, controls, and communication equipment and systems to provide automation for water/wastewater industry projectsInterpret customer specifications and plans and translate them into a defined engineering scope and deliverablesComplete all phases of the engineering process to ensure accurate and timely completion of manufacturing drawingsDevelop detailed engineering documentation including single-line and three-line diagrams, panel elevations, general arrangements, and wiring schematicsLead and mentor engineering and designer teams to convert engineering concepts into working schematicsResponsible for Engineering schedule, including the on‑time release of equipment specifications, bills of materials, and customer documentationSupport the Project Manager to address technical concerns with internal and external stakeholdersProvide engineering expertise/support during estimation, sales, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operationsProvide technical direction, serve as a point of contact or business liaison, prepare briefings for senior management and assist in problem resolution specific to the program/projectReview Tesco's design tools, procedures, and processes and ensure engineering deliverables are compliant to design standardsBackground / Experience:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electrical, controls design, and analyzing automation systemsAbility to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environmentExperience in a regulated industry is preferredBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferredRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) preferredKnowledge of electrical engineering design principles and methodologiesWorking and current knowledge of codes and industry standardsKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and Adobe AcrobatKnowledge of AutoCAD/ AutoCAD ElectricalAbility to read and understand schematicsAttend formal training programs related to the field to help develop new skills or improve existing skillsAbility to understand and design all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machineryUnderstanding of manufacturing workflow, including planning activitiesSelf‑motivated, ability to work autonomously and manage workloads to meet assigned deadlinesWe are pleased to offer a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates who join our team.Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
