Electrical Pre Construction Designer / Specialist

• Experience as an electrical journeyman preferred
• Electrical field experience installing conduit, cable tray and other electrical commodities.
• Electrical Journeyman's License Preferred, but not required.
  • Applicable electrical design or electrical detailing experience may be substituted.
• Experience in overhead raceway planning and installation, conduit sizing and conduit fill requirements.
• Ability to conceptualize raceway layouts in a 3D environment.
• Electrical BIM/VDC/Designer/Detailer experience preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70
• Ability to read and interpret vendor drawing submittals, and engineered drawing deliverables including P&ID's
• Strong understanding of all construction disciplines.
• Excellent communications skills and supervisory skills of field construction personnel.
• Computer proficiency with applications such as Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam.
• Preferred software proficiency AutoCAD or Revit but not required. Must be able to meet company's driving requirements

High School Diploma/GED required and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
