We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee large-scale mission critical and data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning. This role requires a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands complex electrical systems, and can successfully manage high-performing teams while delivering projects with zero compromise on quality, safety, or schedule.

Our client is a nationally recognized electrical contractor specializing in mission critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and other technically complex environments. They are known for tackling challenging projects, embracing innovative construction technologies, and investing heavily in the growth and development of their employees.

Description

  • Lead all phases of electrical construction for mission critical and data center projects.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
  • Oversee procurement of long-lead electrical equipment, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and critical infrastructure components.
  • Coordinate closely with owners, commissioning teams, engineers, vendors, and trade partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contract administration, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project financial performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Partner with field leadership to maintain schedule milestones, quality standards, and safety expectations.
  • Support commissioning activities and coordinate turnover of complex electrical systems.
  • Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
  • Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business opportunities.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within electrical contracting or mission critical construction.
  • Experience managing electrical scopes on data centers, mission critical facilities, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Strong understanding of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and critical power distribution.
  • Proven experience managing complex MEP coordination and commissioning activities.
  • Excellent financial management, contract negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders in fast-paced, technically demanding environments.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Job Offer
