Role: Electrical-Mechanical Technician | Full Time | Contract to Hire

Location: Irwin, PA

Pay: $30 - $35 / hour

Our GlobalManufacturing client is looking to add a Electrical-Mechanical Technician to their team. The candidate will perform a wide range of technical duties supporting the assembly, installation, and service of industrial equipment. This role offers variety, hands-on work, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Assemble machines and perform electrical and mechanical installations
  • Create and interpret electrical drawings and documentation
  • Perform machine startup, debugging, testing, and commissioning to ensure successful project completion and on-time delivery
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Machine Build, and Engineering teams to address customer needs and resolve issues
  • Travel to customer sites to install, evaluate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required
  • Complete project reports and documentation in a timely manner
You will follow all company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and participate in required training. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.

Qualifications & Education Requirements
  • Technical degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology (preferred)with 3 years of experience in machine assembly or electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
  • Proficiency with measurement and diagnostic tools (micrometers, calipers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic electrical drafting and design
  • Experience with AutoCAD; Allen-Bradley and Siemens programming software; and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • SAP and Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow ISO procedures related to quality and job performance
