Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our client in Greensboro. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with proven skills in electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting and repair, industrial equipment installation, and mechanical maintenance.This is a 2nd OR 3rd shift position. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment and performing both preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair electromechanical production machinery.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and assigned repair tasks on industrial machinery, building systems, and facility equipment.Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment, workshops, and outdoor areas to ensure optimal performance.Carry out electrical repairs, PLC troubleshooting, low and high voltage applications, and other maintenance tasks in compliance with safety codes and best practices.Assist in the installation, adjustment, and upgrades of building systems and industrial equipment.Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and equipment replacement data.Promptly report major repair needs or equipment upgrade requirements to management.Respond quickly to maintenance requests, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for cost savings.Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or potential issues.Ensure all new installations and repairs comply with safety regulations and building codes.Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.Demonstrate strong multi-skill capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards.Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of proven experience in the industrial maintenance field.Strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatics, hydraulics, gear pumps, motors, and preventative maintenance (PM) procedures.Hands-on experience in electrical systems, HVAC, pressure vessels, plumbing, welding, and general facility maintenance.Ability to work on-call and overtime as needed.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certifications preferred.Benefits Available:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffHoliday PayDirect HireStarting Pay: $38-42/hr.
