This is a part-time position working 2 days per week from 5-9PM as an IEC Apprenticeship Technical Instructor.
Primary responsibilities include delivering the IEC Apprenticeship curriculum, providing technical support, supervision, and guidance to students through various instructional methods.
Key duties involve using the IEC National Curriculum to create engaging lessons, conducting hands-on exercises, enforcing safety procedures, and managing classroom discipline.
Requirements include completion of the IEC Apprenticeship program or related education, at least 5 years of electrical experience, knowledge of the National Electrical Code, and good communication skills. Preferred qualifications are a Georgia Electrical Contractors License and experience with training or teaching.
The role involves administrative tasks, participation in instructor meetings, and providing extra student assistance as needed.
