About the Role
Central MEP Solutions is hiring an Electrical Helper for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are looking to begin a career in the electrical trade and gain hands-on experience on active commercial construction sites.
You will work alongside licensed electricians and apprentices while learning the fundamentals of commercial electrical installation in a union work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist electricians with commercial electrical installations
Support conduit bending and installation
Pull wire and assist with cable routing
Help install electrical boxes, fixtures, and basic components
Load and move materials and tools around the job site
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow union guidelines and job site safety procedures
Qualifications
0–1 year of electrical or construction experience preferred
Must meet union job site eligibility requirements
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
