General Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Field Supervisor with strong leadership abilities and extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations on single-family residential job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in single-family residential work, with six years preferred, and hold a valid Journeyman License.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise on-site electrical teams, subcontractors, and apprentices on residential job sites

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks to meet project deadlines and budget requirements

  • Interpret and execute electrical drawings, blueprints, and project documentation

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes, local building codes, and company safety standards

  • Conduct regular safety briefings and job site inspections

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to report on job progress, workforce needs, and potential issues

  • Provide technical guidance, hands-on support, and mentorship to crew members

  • Order, track, and manage materials and tools to keep projects moving efficiently

Minimum Education: None Minimum Years of Experience: 4-6 Specific Qualifications:

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on residential electrical experience (single-family homes); 6+ years preferred

  • Proven supervisory or field leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and code compliance

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods

  • Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces

  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools

  • Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary

Work Environment

  • Primarily outdoor residential construction job sites throughout the Phoenix area

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and dust

  • Frequent interaction with construction teams, subcontractors, and management

  • Fast-paced environment with multiple projects operating simultaneously
