Responsibilities:
- Bid Preparation: Analyze project requirements and specifications detailed in bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Data Analysis: Conduct research to determine accurate labor costs, material pricing, and production timelines.
- Vendor Management: Obtain and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors; build long-term relationships with key supply houses.
- Proposal Development: Assemble final estimates and submit professional proposals to clients.
- Client Relations: Foster client relationships to promote our services and gather feedback on submitted bids.
- Project Kickoff: Provide expert consultation during kickoff meetings to assist in the planning and coordination of new projects.
- Strategic Planning: Review the bid board directly with ownership to discuss bidding strategies and prioritize new requests.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record as an Electrical Estimator.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in EBM Vision or comparable estimating software (e.g., Accubid).
- Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge of estimation formulas and data analysis methods.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Mindset: A growth-oriented, reliable professional who thrives under deadline pressure and works well both independently and collaboratively.
