Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering - Electrical Engineer V to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in RF hardware design, RF simulation, and RF system validation and a proven ability to deliver robust RF designs, optimize performance, and resolve complex RF issues across component, board, and system levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop RF schematics and PCB layouts and engage vendors for DFM and manufacturing for research systems and devices.
• Perform RF link budget analysis and execute RF issue debugging in the lab.
• Conduct RF circuit and 3D EM simulations, perform performance tuning and optimization, and validate RF conducted performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance targets are met at component, board, and system levels.
• Partner with antenna and test engineers to ensure overall system quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in RF hardware design for consumer electronics.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with RF front-end and SoC schematic capture, layout, and board bring-up.
• Proficiency with RF lab equipment for device characterization, debug, and component/system performance validation.
• Experience with RF circuit and EM simulation software.
• Effective communicator and team collaborator.

Preferred Skills:

• MS or PhD in RF/Electromagnetics.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Cadence or Altium.
• Experience in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or cellular RF module design, optimization, and validation.

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Preferred: MS or PhD in RF/Electromagnetics.
