STS Staffing is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and work on control panels, PLC programming, and conveyor automation for the food industry. This role focuses on designing, programming, and supporting electrical control systems that keep automated food production lines safe, reliable, and hygienic. Key Responsibilities:
Design control panels, schematics, and select automation components
Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or equivalent)
Configure VFDs, motor controllers, encoders, sensors, and conveyor motion systems
Conduct FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, and operator/maintenance training
Qualifications:
Proven PLC programming experience in conveyor or material-handling systems
Knowledge of food-industry standards and washdown environments
Skilled in electrical schematics and hands-on system troubleshooting
