Summary:

  • As an Electrical Engineer III, you’ll manage complex projects that directly impact operations.
  • Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
  • Promote the integration of advanced technologies, including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Implement robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities.
  • Participate in complex engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university, with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and minimum four years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a main priority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
  • Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements.
  • Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Experience with PLCs and project management.
  • Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects.
  • Supports the designing and implementation of Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
  • Knowledge in power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink or similar tools).
  • Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear.
  • Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems.
  • Experience in supporting procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Experience with participation in the commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications.
