About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout, particularly for older avionics components and systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, troubleshooting, and modernizing circuit boards and assemblies that integrate with legacy aerospace platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and update electrical circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts.
Perform reverse engineering and redesign for obsolete or discontinued avionics components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet aerospace industry standards.
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of circuit boards and electronic systems.
Prepare technical documentation including design reports, test procedures, and compliance records.
Support sustaining engineering activities to extend the lifecycle of existing avionics products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
Hands-on experience with older avionics systems, components, or military/aerospace electronics.
Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics).
Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and component-level troubleshooting.
Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD, or other aerospace standards a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
$120,000 - $150,000 a year
