Electrical Engineer

This role requires working in the office five days a week (Monday–Friday) at our Lincoln, NE location.Position SummaryThe electrical engineer will operate within an electronics manufacturing environment for production support, learn existing designs, work with a multi-discipline team, and interact with offshore suppliers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging circuits and software, concept designs, schedules, cost reduction, and quality analysis. Applicants must be capable of growing their skills to encompass the wide range of circuits included in the products manufactured. This is an onsite position located at our Lincoln, NE office.Essential Job FunctionsWork with systems and products involving radio frequency (RF)Work in a low volume high mix production manufacturing facilityWill work with statistical process control, failure mode analysis, and regulatory complianceProvide assistance to production lines in working with multidisciplinary teamsDebug hardware and softwareCommunicate well, be self-driven with a problem‑solver mentalityStrong electronics troubleshooting ability, able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and simultaneously manage multiple project deliverablesProvide assistance to manufacturing and repair personnel for troubleshooting malfunctions in components and systemsPrepare design, manufacturing, and process documentationSelect and specify electronic and electrical components based on function, cost, availability, reliability, etc. for use in the products manufactured, and assist purchasing and quality control in resolving technical questions or difficultiesEducation And Experience RequiredBachelor of Science in Electrical Electronics Engineering1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering and product engineering rolesProficient with necessary tools including multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systemsGood technical writing skillsStrong electronic debugging and computer skillsGood interpersonal skillsWe are a nationwide provider of security solutions and an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.#J-18808-Ljbffr
