Electrical Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for an Electrical Engineer. The Substation Engineer will be responsible for the design, engineering, and coordination of high‑voltage substations and interconnection facilities supporting utility‑scale solar PV projectsResponsibilitiesLead like‑for‑like replacements and upgrades of substation equipment (e.g., breakers, switches, transformers, relays, bushings, arresters).Lead engineering and design of substations (typically 34.5kV–500kV) for solar PV and BESS projects.Develop and review:Relay settings and coordination studiesPerform or oversee:Load flow, short circuit, and grounding studiesEquipment sizing (transformers, breakers, switchgear, buswork)Coordinate interconnection design in compliance with utility requirements and ISO/RTO standards (e.g., PJM, ERCOT, MISO)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.5–10+ years of experience in substation design (utility, EPC, or consulting environment).Familiarity with greenfield construction projects.Experience with engineering software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, AutoCAD, MicroStation).#J-18808-Ljbffr
