Krones Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.JOB DESCRIPTIONKrones, Inc. seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to utilize specialized knowledge of packaging machinery including conveyors, labelers, and inspection equipment to manage the electrical design, PLC and HMI programming as well as start‑up and troubleshooting of the automation control systems; manage integration projects for Krones involving its packaging machinery as well as other manufacturer's equipment owned by customer to ensure that customer's complete set-up of machines work together through the programming of the PLCs and HMIs; review customer specifications; work with customers, Mechanical Engineering and vendors to understand and define system requirements; responsible for the electrical integration of machinery to the control system; create new and/or modify existing electrical schematics, electromechanical assemblies using 3D CAD, and parts lists to meet the customer requirements and specifications; create new and/or modify existing PLC programs to meet the system requirements; provide engineering support for construction and testing of control assemblies; provide engineering support during installation of system; assist in verification and validation of the control system; ensure project meets customer requirements and schedule.This position is based in Franklin, WI, and requires reliable commuting to the office as part of a hybrid work schedule. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout their employment without employer sponsorship.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and three years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
