Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Electrical/Electronic Engineer IV opportunity available based in Charleston, SC. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.ROLE RESPONSIBILTIESElectrical and electronics engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electric utilities. Electrical and electronics engineers work closely with computers.Electrical and electronics engineers specialize in different areas such as power generation, transmission, distribution, communications, and electrical equipment manufacturing. Electrical and electronics engineersdesign new products, write performance requirements, and develop maintenance schedules. They also test equipment, solve operating problems, and estimate the time and cost of engineering projects.Required QUALIFICATIONSMust possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.Master's or BS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.Ten (10) years with Masters or 14 years with BS degree of professional experience with design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR or similar requirements.Five (5) years of technical experience in support of engineering, testing, implementing, and leading team on control systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSIn some occasions, overnight travel may be required.PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONSCambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements.
