Direct hire opening with our engineering client for an Electrical Designer.

Essential Functions
  • Design and drafting of electrical systems
  • Prepare preliminary electrical designs and produce complete construction document set drawings
  • Prepare conformed plans and record drawings from existing and modified construction document sets.
  • Review redlines and preliminary construction drawings for correctness, completeness and conformance to design software standards; recommend acceptance or modifications.
  • Generate, complete and accurate record drawings and other engineering design project work.
  • Communicate with clients and contractors
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Perform fieldwork to gather or confirm data.

Requirements
  • Associate Degree
  • Highly proficient with AutoCAD/Revit as it pertains to the preparation of electrical drawings
  • Able to layout electrical systems
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code, NFPA, and energy codes. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adhere to new standards and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to perform field surveys
