Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Designer for our client in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Scope
- Works to specifications and written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practice, codes, standards, and procedures to prepare electrical designs.
- Is responsible for the neatness and accuracy of own work.
Responsibilities
- Develops electrical drawings for an area of the project in conformance with the project requirements with supervision.
- Prepares drawings including, plans, sections, single line and elementary diagrams and equipment schedules.
- Interprets drawings supplied by vendors, clients and other disciplines that affect the design.
- Participates in field investigation to obtain information to route and support piping and ductwork.
Qualifications
- Two (2) to (5) years of drafting experience.
- AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD PLant3D, Inventor, or other 3D platforms proficient.
- Ability to read and understand single line drawings and electrical block diagrams.
- Experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Able to conduct field investigations to verify conditions.
