What You'll Do

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll play an active role in designing and delivering electrical systems for a variety of building projects.

• Design and develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
• Create and modify designs using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and senior staff to deliver high-quality solutions
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure fully integrated building systems
• Apply building codes, industry standards, and best practices
• Contribute to project design, engineering analysis, and documentation
• Support project deliverables using tools like Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and engineering software

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
• 1-5 years of experience (or strong internship/co-op experience for recent grads)
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with building electrical systems (power, lighting, or low-voltage)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a team-driven environment
• Motivation to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility

Bonus Points

• EIT certification or on the path to licensure (PE a plus)
• Experience with AGi32 (lighting) or SKM (power systems)
• Certifications such as LC, RCDD, LEED AP, or WELL AP
• Interest in sustainable and high-performance building design

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $58.00/hr.
