Job Summary
Senior Electrical Designer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join a dynamic engineering team supporting complex industrial and advanced technology projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on state-of-the-art facilities, including semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centers, and other advanced manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical drafting and design, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. This role involves collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality electrical design packages for large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Develop 2D and 3D models for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
- Coordinate with engineers and design teams to deliver accurate and complete design packages.
- Review project scope, schedules, and design requirements to ensure timely project completion.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and project requirements.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of electrical design and drafting experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- At least 1 year of Revit MEP experience.
- Experience designing electrical systems for industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or mission-critical facilities.
Preferred Qualifications- Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience with semiconductor, data center, or advanced manufacturing projects.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
