Pay, benefits, Human Resources, and Employment Management functions are provided by AIS.Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the Department of Energy.ResponsibilitiesThis position will support the Y-12 Division Managed Design Engineering Field Design Support group.Drafting in Bentley MicroStation: One-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawingsPreparing data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reportsWork in concert with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work groupMust be able to support construction and operational activities related to design outputs. Field walkdowns will be required sometimes in radiologically contaminated areas.Little to no ( Typical work schedule will be Mon.-Thur. 10-hour days (4/10 schedule)QualificationsAssociates or higher degree in a technical field and 6-10 years of related experience or high school diploma and 13-19 years of relevant experience.
