Type: Year to year contract job.If you're an Electrical Design Engineer who wants to see your designs become real hardware, this role puts you at the center of motorsport high-performance vehicle development. You'll work hands-on across electrical architecture, wire harnesses, high-voltage systems, and prototype builds, collaborating closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and supplier teams.This is not a siloed CAD role. You'll be involved from concept through build, test, and early production, owning real systems on real vehicles.What You'll Be DoingDesign and develop electrical components, subsystems, wire harnesses, and high-voltage systemsCreate 3D/2D electrical designs using CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCEPerform engineering calculations to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goalsSupport prototype builds, assembly trials, and manufacturing activitiesWork directly with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teamsMaintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation; support DFM reviewsTroubleshoot design and build issues and drive solutions to closureParticipate in technical and cross-functional problem-solving sessionsTravel as needed for supplier visits, testing, or track supportWhat We're Looking For3 – 5+ years of electrical design engineering experienceAutomotive, motorsports, aerospace, or similar preferredBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldHands-on experience with:High-voltage electrical systemsCore electrical engineering fundamentalsProficiency with CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCEAbility to interpret engineering drawings, create BOMs, and perform tolerance stack-upsStrong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsWillingness to travel for development and support activitiesWhy Engineers Like This RoleYour work goes directly onto high-performance vehiclesStrong ownership from concept through buildClose collaboration with manufacturing and suppliers, not just engineeringFast-paced development with visible resultsIdeal for engineers who want to stay hands-on and technically sharp#J-18808-Ljbffr
