.Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Pelzer, SC
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering projects from pre-sales to commissioning
- Design UPS/DC power systems and switchgear configurations
- Develop control schemes using PLCs/relays for automated operations
- Prepare BOMs and modify designs as per project needs
- Perform generator sizing and load analysis
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards
- Review electrical drawings, submittals, and specifications
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and site activities
- Provide technical support and innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (PE license optional)
- 4+ years of relevant electrical design experience
- Strong knowledge of UPS, switchgear, and power systems
- Familiar with NEC and electrical codes/standards
- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and MS Office
- Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of Modbus, TCP/IP, RS-485, Ethernet (preferred)
- Good problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
