Electrical Design Engineer

We are a growing Power Engineering firm that recently completed a strategic acquisition, expanding our capabilities and project portfolio. As a result, we are looking to add two Electrical Design Engineers to support increased demand and collaborate with our expanding engineering team.The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for power and industrial applications. This role offers hands‑on design work, exposure to LV and MV systems, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers in a fast‑growing organization.Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksDevelop electrical schematics, layouts, and drawingsSupport the design and integration of switchgearWork on Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systemsCollaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to meet project requirementsEnsure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and customer specificationsParticipate in design reviews and technical discussionsRequired Qualifications Experience in electrical design within power, industrial, or related engineering environmentsProficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksHands‑on experience with switchgearWorking knowledge of LV and MV electrical systemsStrong attention to detail and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team‑based environmentSalary up to $100,000, depending on experienceCompetitive PTO package401(k) with company matchStable, growing company with long‑term career opportunitiesInterview Process Initial Teams interview with the VP of Electrical EngineeringOnsite interview in Lafayette to meet the engineering team#J-18808-Ljbffr
