Together with our partner MLA (Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas Inc.) we are successfully expanding our activities in the North American market.Position SummaryThe Electrical Design Engineer will be based in Houston and play a key role within the Product Development and Construction team. This international, permanent position is available immediately and offers the opportunity to work on innovative mobile machinery projects. The engineer will collaborate closely with mechanical, hydraulic, and test engineers to meet project goals, while also engaging with external suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to bring products into production. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues for both new and existing products, ensuring smooth transitions from design to deployment. No Occasional travel is required for this position. Occasional travel is required for this position.ResponsibilitiesThis role includes the design of parts and simple assemblies within defined boundary conditions, as well as the creation of electrical schematics and harnesses. The engineer will be responsible for specifying hardware and software to control trucks, incorporating all safety features and accessories. Additional duties include creating drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) in accordance with company standards, supporting prototype and field test equipment during construction and commissioning, and coordinating development tasks with suppliers.
