• Design and implement control systems for in-house equipment and automation, including hardware specifications, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
• Develop, program, and maintain automation solutions across PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives, and industrial networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance automation for bothnew and existing processes and equipment.
• Evaluate equipment performance, efficiency, and utilization to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Partner with Maintenance teams to troubleshoot, support, and optimize existing systems as needed.
• Create and maintain clear operating, setup, and maintenance documentation to ensure reliable and consistent equipment operation.

Required Skills:

• 5 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls
• Proficiency with 2D CAD software
• PLC & HMI programming
• Working knowledge of VFD drives and servos
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Familiar with machine safety standards
• Mechanical aptitude

• Robotic Programming
• 3D CAD
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Machine Vision
