Electrical cad technician

job summary:
Entry level Electrical CAD Technician needed in Cary, NC for a leading Engineering and Constuction firm. If you have 2+ years of CAD experience and are looking for an environment to grow, this is a great role for you! Ideal candidates will have some experience with Revit, BIM, or CAD Drafting. Coursework or certifications in CAD are highly preferred.

responsibilities:

• The Electrical CAD Technician will assist technical teams of detailers, designers and engineers to create world class detail on a variety of tellecommunication projects using Revit and BIM softwares. This position will assist in developing computer-aided drafting design solutions.
  
  
• Designing and modeling various telecommunication project types, including physical pathway infrastructure designs (inside and outside plant), equipment plan layouts, structured cabling layouts, and management of 3D Revit models.
  
  
• Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
  
  
• Assist with preparing and revising plot drawings.
