Position Overview Electrical Assistant Project Manager (West Palm Beach, Florida) assists the Project Manager on projects and is the liaison between the field and the office. They are responsible for defining the project's objectives by planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to the schedule while keeping within the budget.Responsibilities Assist in writing quotations and project proposals, estimating projects when necessary, review of contracts, setting up projects in relevant software applications, and working with project managers, on-site foreman, and general contractors on assigned work.Work with the Production and Field teams; Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Field StaffDesign participation, preconstruction, construction, and testing coordinationAssist Project Managers in managing projects, subcontracts, suppliers, and inspectors to meet construction deadlines and client expectationsAssist Project Manager in reviewing design documents, plans, specifications, estimates, schedules, and reportsCoordinate with change order cost estimates, preparing related reports, budgeting, and accounting practicesDevelop professional documents; edit and proof written materials; prepare and maintain complete reports and recordsQualifications 2+ years of Project Engineer experience in the electrical construction industry.Understand engineering in electric power.Field experience coordinating with construction management.Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projectsDemonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolioBSEE or Construction Management degree is strongly preferred.Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus.Compensation Dependent on experience and work historyRelocation assistance opportunities may be available, please inquire.#J-18808-Ljbffr
