From concept through commissioning, we focus on building high-performing systems that improve operational efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.As our project portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support automation and digital integration initiatives across a range of industrial clients.Key Responsibilities Design electrical power distribution, motor control, and automation systemsDevelop control strategies aligned with client requirements and site constraintsProduce electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentationSelect and specify components such as PLCs, drives, sensors, and MCC equipmentEnsure compliance with applicable U.S. electrical codes and standardsSupport equipment procurement and vendor coordinationAssist with engineering estimates and technical proposal developmentClient & Field Support Interface directly with clients in both office and field settingsConduct site assessments and support active project executionMaintain strong professional relationships with project stakeholdersCommissioning & Startup (as needed) Support installation and integration of electrical and automation systemsParticipate in testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activitiesProvide startup support to ensure successful project handoffQualifications 10+ years of experience in electrical and controls designActive Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. stateStrong knowledge of U.S. electrical codes and industrial standardsExperience in heavy industrial environments such as mining, marine, or bulk material handling is preferredAbility to contribute to scope development and engineering estimatesSelf-directed, detail-oriented, and collaborativePrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
