GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for providing maintenance services to the entire plant, primarily
regarding issues involving electrical, electronic, or automation problems. The Technician's
primary responsibility is to breakdowns involving automation and or electrical systems. In
addition the position requires work on scheduled downtime including Preventative Maintenance
and Corrective Maintenance. The position also requires advanced troubleshooting of
sophisticated automation systems, systems re-design, and new equipment installation. The
Technician works as a team member of the Maintenance crew either on Day Turn or Shift Work.
The job involves independent work on troubleshooting or repairing electrical/mechanical
systems, or working with other members of the maintenance crew on work orders or
breakdowns. In addition the Technician works with Maintenance Engineers and supervisors on
work orders and breakdowns and is also required to interact with Operations personnel to
determine the functionality of repairs or modifications to existing and new systems
