The Unified School District of Antigo is seeking an English Learner Instructional Assistant to support EL students in our district.
JOB GOAL
The position of English Learner (EL) Program Bilingual Interpreter for the Unified School District of Antigo is essential to communication between family and school. The goal of this position shall be to assist the district in the areas included but not limited to the Duties and Responsibilities described below in order to engage families.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Post Secondary Education.
Successful experience in a school setting and knowledge of specific factors influencing the learning process is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Examples are not all-inclusive)
• Support K-5 students in classroom settings using best practices according to their ILP (individualized learning plan) • Collaborate with K-5 classroom teacher to best support students with additional teacher provided materials in the classroom • Homework support during study halls for 6-12 grade students
