Perform all departmental procedures within scope of care in timely manner assuring quality results.
Enter all charges and other information into the computer system.
Post reports on the patient's charts. Maintain accurate, up to date patient charts and filing.
Prepare folders and reports for physicians to review procedure.
Fax reports to the physician's office in a timely manner.
Maintain and stock equipment including cleaning and sterilization procedures.
Maintain the department/office in a neat and presentable manner.
Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
Respond to all Code Blue and Rapid Response.
Maintain and order adequate supplies for uninterrupted service.
Assist with orientation of new employees.
Participates in unit and hospital wide Patient Quality Improvement Activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EKG experience preferred.
