EKG Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Department: Heart Care

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm, remote 1 day per week

Salary Range: $19.65 - $26.34

• Lead the end-to-end diagnostic process by performing precise EKGs and expertly placing Holter monitors to capture critical cardiac data.
• Manage the registration and calibration of monitoring devices, ensuring every patient journey begins with accurate setup and high-quality data collection.
• Support clinical excellence by identifying diagnostic artifacts and immediately escalating abnormal findings to ensure rapid physician intervention.
• Empower patients through clear education on cardiac procedures and home-monitoring equipment, reducing anxiety and ensuring high compliance with testing.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
