EHS Specialist

Our new 360,000-square-foot Asian-style food manufacturing facility in Sioux Falls, SD is coming to life, and we're hiring key roles to build it from the ground up. We're seeking an EHS Compliance Specialist to help establish a strong safety culture and ensure a safe, compliant workplace from day one.

What You Will Do

• Support the development and implementation of safety and compliance programs for a new manufacturing site
• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions
• Partner cross-functionally to identify risks and improve processes, equipment, and safety practices
• Help manage PSM (Process Safety Management) and RMP (Risk Management Program) compliance
• Assist with safety audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
• Coordinate safety committees, emergency response planning, and training programs
• Monitor facility conditions and lead initiatives to reduce hazards and improve workplace safety
• Support compliance with fire protection, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness standards

What We Look For

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in EHS, safety, or industrial compliance
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
• Willingness to grow expertise in PSM and environmental programs

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $99,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
