Terabase Energy is seeking an Employee Health and Safety Manager to act as a consultant to business unit leaders and provide support for our product teams and workers. This role will provide leadership, coordination, and execution of day-to-day requirements on projects, managing workers compensation claims, ensuring precise accident reports, and driving safety programs and initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent blend of education and work experience in our industry, with 5-7 years of applied professional EHS work in a construction field. Factory setting experience is also desirable.Responsibilities Provide support to the R&D and product teams by maintaining a visible presence to the field, performing production floor visits to the sites and facilitiesDevelop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors, and communityEstablish and maintain a positive safety culture throughout the organizationCommunicate safety information regularly to the organization in a highly professional and effective mannerImplement a risk-based approach to safety management, consider non-safety related factors, and balance practicalities with safety measuresInvestigate safety incidents, perform root cause analysis, establish corrective and preventive actions, monitor for trendsEstablish and maintain safety training contentSupport project safety management needs in the way of planning, consulting, etc.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent blend of education and work experience in our industry5-7 years of applied professional EHS work, in a construction field. Factory setting is also desirableUnderstanding of the software, engineering and/or climate tech sectorsExperience providing EHS support across multiple locationsStrong planning, coordination, organization, and prioritization skillsProven ability to foster relationships with managers and working partnerships with a broad range of peopleAbility to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environmentThorough understanding of OSHA, ANSI, and EPA regulationsAbility to interpret State and Federal regulations and applicability to facility to ensure complianceAbility to write regulatory reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsExperience performing risk assessments and auditsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsBenefits The salary for this role will range from $130,000 - $150,000.
