Position Overview The EHS Coordinator supports environmental, health, and safety programs in a chemical manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. This role partners closely with site leadership and production teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety. The position requires regular presence on the plant floor and involvement in daily operations across multiple shifts as needed.Primary Responsibilities Implement and maintain site-level EHS programs, policies, and proceduresConduct incident and near‑miss investigations and track corrective actionsPerform routine hazard assessments and support safe work practicesManage hazardous waste handling, storage, and shipment in compliance with regulationsSupport environmental programs including air, water, and spill prevention requirementsDeliver and coordinate EHS training for employees and contractorsTrack and report EHS metrics, including injury data and leading indicatorsParticipate in emergency response planning, drills, and safety committeesMinimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in environmental, Health & Safety or related field2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or chemical environmentExperience with OSHA, EPA, DOT Hazmat, and hazardous waste regulationsAbility to conduct incident investigations and deliver safety trainingAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipPreferred Requirements Knowledge of EPCRA reporting and ISO 14001 standardsExperience with process safety, MOC, or high‑hazard operationsProficiency in EHS data tracking systems and Microsoft Office toolsAbility to work on‑site with physical activity including walking, lifting, and stair climbingSalary: $80,000-$93,000.H.B.
