    Job Summary:

    The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and programs that ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment for all employees.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Safety & Compliance

    • Conduct facility inspections to identify environmental, health, and safety risks
    • Develop, implement, and maintain inspection procedures and schedules
    • Monitor compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations
    • Ensure adherence to OSHA and environmental standards

    Program Development & Training

    • Create and implement comprehensive health and safety procedures across all business units

    • Develop and deliver training programs on:

    • Emergency response

    • Workplace safety

    • Regulatory compliance

    • Promote a strong safety culture through education and engagement

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Prepare detailed inspection reports and document findings

    • Maintain accurate records of:

    • Hazardous material usage and exposure

    • Waste discharge and environmental compliance

    • Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are current and readily accessible

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and environmental performance
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree - Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field (required)
    • Master's degree (preferred)
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EHS or a related field
    • OSHA certification/training strongly preferred
